About the Instructors
Emily Newman is currently pursuing my Masters in Fine Arts for Dance at Arizona State University. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois and has been a dancer for 21 years. Emily is also the President of a non for profit corporation called Humanitarian Efforts for African Learning, whose main objective is to raise funds to better the education of children of Africa.
Kimberly Day received a BFA from the University of Montana in Visual Arts, Sculpture after transferring from Purchase College in New York. Kimberly displays work in solo and group exhibitions in Montana and New York. She currently attends Arizona State University's Art Education graduate program and works for a children's community arts program on Saturday mornings through the Herberger College for Kids.

About ArtSpace
Artspace is a 21st Century Community Learning Center which provides an interdisciplinary arts experience for children and youth through out the Phoenix Herberger College
ASU ArtSpace programming is transdisciplinary, encompassing multiple fine arts and design disciplines. Two Graduate Student instructors are assigned to each school. While multiple fine arts and design disciplines will be touched upon in ArtSpace, the strengths and disciplinary focus of each school's instructors will be focused upon, making each ASU ArtSpace site unique.
